Social Security, disability, pensions and payroll checks that you receive periodically can be electronically deposited to your Converse County Bank checking or savings accounts.
We will cash checks drawn on our customers if funds are available, and checks for customers of the bank.
You can withdraw from your account by Cashiers Check or purchase a Cashiers Check at either of our locations. We also offer personal money orders.
FEDERAL TAX DEPOSITORY AND EFTPS
We will accept Federal Tax Deposit Payments for our business customers. Just bring in your coupon (Federal Tax Deposit Coupon Form 8109) and your check drawn on Converse County Bank. All processing will be done for you. It’s that simple. In addition, the U.S. Treasury department offers the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS). EFTPS offers you the convenience and flexibility of making your tax payments through the Internet, Personal Computer (PC) software or phone. You select how you want to make your payments. On the date you indicate, you will instruct EFTPS to move the funds from your account at Converse County Bank to the U.S. Treasury’s account.
Converse County Bank is an agent for Banker’s Bank of the West VISA and MasterCard merchant processing. Card processing offers the merchant the possibility of increased sales and lessens the occurrence of returned checks. Electronic transmission of transactions is available for the merchant’s convenience. Applications may be obtained at the Main Bank.
We will notarize official documents free of charge at our main bank.

Wire transfers allow for the rapid electronic transfer of money between financial institutions. Both incoming and outgoing wire services are available through the online system of the Federal Reserve Bank, Fedline. No fee for incoming wire transfers for CCB customers. When checks need to be sent to the drawer bank to ensure collection, go to the Main Bank. Incoming and outgoing collection items are processed for a fee. The clearing of Collection items may take up to 3 weeks.
For pennies a day, keep your valuables and important papers secure in one of our safe deposit boxes. Annual rental charge will vary based on size of box. Contents of boxes are not covered by FDIC insurance.
Stop payments may be placed on checks or electronic drafts. There is a fee for stop payments. Customers will need to come in or call the Bookkeeping Department at the Main Bank to place a stop payment on an item.
