Economic Impact Payments

1/04/2021

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), has started issuing the second round of Economic Impact Payments to eligible individuals. Direct Deposits are currently arriving as of January 4, 2021, and Paper checks will be mailed to individuals without direct deposit information on file.

Eligibility

The newly enacted COVID-relief legislation authorizes payments of up to $600, or $1,200 for married couples. If you have qualifiying children, you may receive up to $600 for each qualifying child, however, dependents who are older than 17 are not eligible for the child payment.

To receieve the full amount, your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) must be below $75,000 for individuals, or $150,000 for married couples filing jointly. Filers with income above these amounts will see a reduced payment.

Direct Deposits

Payments are automatic for eligible taxpayers who filed a 2019 tax return. Your payment will show as a "Pending ACH Transaction" on the CCB Mobile app or Online Banking, and will automatically be deposited on the indicated date.

With the CCB Mobile app, you can also setup deposit notifications that will alert you when a deposit has been made to your account.

Check Payment Status

The IRS has built a tool to check the status of your Economic Impact Payment. The Get My Payment tool can be accessed on the IRS website, along with additional information regarding COVID-19 related resources.
